Memorial Day Celebration
Our Memorial Day Celebration is an annual commemoration honoring our veterans and clergy. The ceremony opens with an outdoor mass held in the Bishop’s Section followed by the laying of patriotic wreaths in the Veterans’ Section representing each branch of service and honoring the Veterans who served our country. Roselawn Cemetery is the final resting place of three bishops, 150 priests and nuns. The ceremony concludes caravan style with a blessing of their individual graves. The Knights of Columbus sponsor, organize and participate as escorts. Free and open to the public.
